In 1875 Francesco Bottene first started manufacturing the "New Machine for the Production of Home Pastas" or the  "Bigolaro", so called as it makes the very thick spagetti called Bigoli. Bottene has continued to this day to produce pasta extruders which are sold thoughout the world. Bottene spares are readily available.
