In 1925 Karl Fischer founded the company now known as EGO - Elektro-Gerätebau Oberweiler - controls in the Black Forest. The range of equipment initially included hotplates, electric cookers and hot water boilers. The product list has now grown to oven heaters, regulator switches, controls and heating elements.
